THINK YOU ARE TOO YOUNG?
Although, most institutions do require you to be 18 years of age to enroll in a program. Some institutions do make the exception of allowing students at the age of 16 to enroll. Although you do not receive a certificate of completion for enrolling with us at the age of 16. This would still help you grow your skills and help you kick off your career as makeup artist. Cosmetology schools, makeup artistry programs and licensing boards do not have an age limit when it comes to seeking professional training or obtaining a license. As long as you are able to perform the physical functions required of a makeup artist, you are not cut off from it because you’ve reached a certain limit.
There is no actual age limit one should know what they want to pursue in life. Some of us know as soon as we are born, some of us know later in life. Whatever age it is it should not hold you back from walking down the path in a field which you believe could be right for you.
We are always going to be questioned about something when telling someone what are plans for the future are. But the question are you too young? or are you too old? should not be one of them when it comes to pursuing makeup artistry. As long as you have the passion and dedication do not let age discourage you from pursuing your goals and dreams. The truth is, the talent within you should be nurtured regardless of what age you are. Makeup Artistry is a field which is ever growing, just like we all as humans are.
