You have some experience doing other people’s makeup and may have completed cosmetology or esthetician school, but now you want to advance your career with makeup-specific training.
We all know the frustration of having our hard work melt away due to factors like humidity, rain, and stress. As a makeup artist, you don’t want a client to look into the mirror only a few hours after you’ve meticulously applied their makeup to see their foundation, bronzer, and blush faded, smudged, or streaky. The best way to protect your artistry from skin oils and outside factors like humidity is to prep your client’s skin before applying any makeup. If your skin prepping skills could use a boost, consider participating in our skincare workshop in New York City, NYC.
We know skincare programs for makeup artists wouldn’t be complete without a thorough discussion of skin prep. That’s why, as one of the top skincare schools in the area, we offer in-depth training on skin prep for makeup artists. This includes everything from skin analysis to creating a skincare regime. Our professional instructors provide tips on prepping skin so that makeup looks gorgeous and doesn’t fade fast.
Upon graduation we provide guidance with PRO Card Applications as well as enable students to obtain memberships at our partners, Frends Beauty and Nigels Beauty Emporium. Two online companies will provide up to 40% off in brands such as Make Up For Ever, L’Oreal, Stila, Naked Cosmetics, Becca, Beauty Blender, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Morphe, Zuca, NYX, Smashbox, Too Faced, Temptu and much more.
We understand that as you grow as a makeup artist, building and adding on to your collection is a vital part of your success.
